Guys I can remember in the mid-70's I would not buy gas unless it was .25 (twenty five cents) a gallon) I would drive around till I found .25 cent gas :>) Then the Arabs screwed us and dtill doing it.. The Tree Huggers will not allow drilling in Alaska or build another refinery :>(

I'm only 24 and i remember when diesel was dirt cheap like that too.

Its almost 4.25 in this poverty stricken area where i live, which is like probably the equivalent to $6.00 in most other areas

At $4.00 a gallon, everywhere will be poverty stricken....

I don't know about everyone else, but my paychecks aren't getting any bigger!

you can bet until there is a mass orginized strike buy 85% or better of the truckers it will not get any better. basicly the huge companys like roadway, united and possably ups will have to say "fawk it, we are gonna sit here untill this deal is figured out." for the fuel costs to start going back down. by then back down might be to 5 bucks tho! i know my junk stays parked unless i have to pull the job trailor. hell, wait until memorial day!

I filled up with B5 biodeisel yesterday in Alamo, TN.
Price was 3.85 or 3.89 (my memory sux; I'd have to go out in the rain to get the reciept out of my truck to confirm the price.)
