Help with Woods Diesel Commercial Mower
Hi all
Well I have a woods diesel 5215 three Cylinder.
Last summer I had a problem and it turned out to need a new starter.
New starter is on - she cranks but seems to not be cranking fast enough to
fire it.
- I fully charged the battery - I bled the lines - even plugged in the block
heater.
But still when it cranks, she won't fire
Little puffs of smoke come out like she wants to, but she won't light.
Unfortunately its a hydrostatic so I can't to it to fire...
I'm preheating for a good long time as well
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Pete

Forgot about the WD-40 trick.
Something that works better then WD, getcha a old towel/rag and put some gas on it, hold it over the intake and start it. Make sure you have a good grip on the rag so is doesn't get sucked in.
