The Turbine housing is still the silver metal color, the outlet side of the turbo that goes into the downpipe is blue-ish...looks like it got really hot.

I have a infrared temp gun and I checked the temp of the intercooler tubes and they were not much over 100 degrees...and when I check the exhaust part of the turbo it wasn't that hot either 200-240...the truck was not running, but check after running down the road.

do you have guages in the pickup? sounds like you have a boost leak some where.

Yeah I have gauges...Are they notorious for leaking?

The Pyro is connected directly into the downtube, when the the TS chip is on 140 extreme it climbs up to 1000 degrees...extremely fast

there is one of your problems, you need it in the manifold. if your seeing 1000 in the down pipe you could be seeing 1300+ in the manifold.

well isn't 1300+ still to high?

When I had the exhaust installed, the shop installed the fitting for the pyro, I assumed they put it in the right spot.

there is nothing behind the turbo that needs monitering. it needs to be in the manifold. you have a boost leak somewhere. you need someway to check everything
