I got the 6 position chip today, Question: What do I do with the opening into the computer where the chip cable runs back out..? It seems that a lot dirt and dust can get in there, any ideas?

Most people just tape the chip in place thereby covering the hole and keeping dust and stuff out... It also ensures that the chip won't rattle out or anything.

i left mine and haven't had issues, then again my truck is a road queen, no dirt roads for it

Ok, well installed the TS chip in today and I put the truck through some paces...here's what I found...I was boosting about 25-26 psi, now it's back down to 20 psi, the egt's are through the roof and my check engine light comes on and stays on.

Now I'm puzzled as to what the truck should be doing, when I got home I popped the hood to quick glance at the motor and I noticed the Turbo was blue!

Can someone give me some insight to what might be happening if anything?...I am just nervous about screwing something up.

By the way, TS chip has no custom tunes on it just straight from Advanced Diesel...I was going to wait to get custom tunes when I get the injectors re-done by Rosewood.

Something isnt seated right, whether it is your intake Y or the turbo to the Uppipe Collector. You will need to double check everything

Is that going to be reason for the check engine light and the elevated egt's as well?

okay if that oring is missing or screwed up what will it do to your EGTs and boost??

it will cause low boost and high EGTs

I tore into the truck...Again! The O ring on the Turbo outlet is okay and seated, the O rings where the Turbo mounts are fine and seated...all the V rings clamps are tight and sealed...

When I put switch to the 140 extreme hp on the TS Chip I cannot get up past 20 psi of boost and the egt's climb so fast the gauge moves like the speedometer...

When I switch to the 100 hp on the Chip, I can get damn near 30 psi of boost and the egt's don't climb near as fast...

And is the Turbo supposed to turn blue?
