what causes surge? my truck dosent have that problem, weather im towing or driving like an a** hole.

well aparently a load for mine. but i don't have gauges yet so i'm not sure what a was at for boost.

A little side to side is ok as long as it isn't hitting the housing... You don't want any in and out movement.

well i don't think it's hitting the housing. but i got almost 1/8 inch play in and out. that's where i'm concerned.

yeah thats way to much, i dont know what spec is but i cant see it being more then a few thousandths.

that's what i thought. i'll have a turbo shop look at it. any one know where a turbo shop is in the denver/ golden CO area? other that ATS.

also, i just cput a boost gauge in today. it's a cheapy sunpro but it works. WOT @ 3000RPM it hits 20 psi. is that about where it should be for just intake, exhaust, and programmer?
