pyrometer
We found many programing issues that the lab never experanced.
Idealy I would say 6-8 is perfect for all occasions. But the nice thing about Performax is I can have all 17 sensors hooked to the ECM and only run the gauges I want to run at that time. I can also Data log all 17 sensors... Its a very slick system.
Gauges...
A pillar top to bottom
Exhaust Back Pressure 0-60
Boost Pressure 0-60
Left EGT 0-2000
Right EGT 0-2000
Dash Top
Water Injection Pressure 0-180psi
Overhead Pod left to right
Tranny temp 100-280
Rear diif temp 100-280
Oil temp 100-280
Coolant temp 100-280
Dash Suround
Drive oil Pressure 0-400
Intake air temp 0-240
Volts 10v-16v
Fuel level for the bed tank
Underdash left to right
Fuel pressure 0-100
Oil Pressure 0-100
Air Pressure 0-180
And a Scan Gauge on the steering column...
Mine? Retail?
$2000 or so... Give or take a little...
I'm going to run mechanical gauges soon but the pyro to the passenger side up pipe should it be the same for on that side?
I already have my edge in the drivers side and I'm going to keep it just move it over head so I can keep an eye on both sides

i believe there is a port just abouve the pan on the drivers side towards the front of the trans. for mine i modified the drain plug since i have a manual.
You always want to be pre turbo. There is no reason to mount a pyro probe post turbo. With a post turbo pyro you will see temps anywhere from 100* to 600* LESS then a pre turbo. Your not watching EGT's to protect the turbo, your watching them to protect the pistons.
Here is a Pre turbo CLAMP on pyro...

And here is a drill and tap...

<SNIP>....
Let me know if you have any questions!!!

I'd like to know more about the clamp on thermo couple as I do not want to chance messing with the drill and tap. The diesel performance shops only have the drill and tap.
Would something like this work and be compatible with most Pyro Gauges
