i got my tunes from tyrant- stock, high idle (1200 RPM), tow 60HP, economy 60HP, race 100HP, extreme 120HP. love them. before this i was getting 12-15 mpg, now if i run it on economy (and am somewhat easy on the throttle) the only time i checked it i got 17.8 mpg going 85-90 on the interstate through the mountains. you can definitely notice the power in the race and extreme settings also

James, dont mind him, he is a Dodge guy!!!
Good points by all. If you can, look on Craigslist for a TS CHip, they are usually cheaper there and then u can send it to a tuner and have them burn the tunes cheaper. Heck there is a TS Chip on Spokane Craigslist for $225 right, might be able to get it cheaper

I have the a TS chip with tunes from KT. They are canned tunes based on your truck year and trans. I'm running their high idle, 50hp, 75hp, 100hp, and 140hp tunes in an e99 with a 6spd. I typically stay in the 100hp tune, there's is little to no smoke and the truck pulls smooth. There's a little on/off throttle jerking, but I also did the 140 volt mod just prior to the chip and started to notice the jerking then. Seems like the chip increased it some. I've had the chip for a few months and haven't had an issue with it.
