Default 38r compared to S366

Ive been looking at Irate diesels mounting kit and s366.. All together its about $2000.. My question is, is this setup gonna be better then simply running a 38r especially being its nearly a grand more.. I want to make 475-500 no more due to pmrs. I HAVE TRANS, TS 6 POS, intake and exhaust right now. I plan on doing fass, reg return, 238 cc hybrids, and addrenaline or terminator hpop.

Not completely, we redid the fuel system, put in the termys, 3" intake plenums. Just have to weld the downpipe and intercooler pipe then button it all up.

My pickup gets moody when you wrench on her. She tired to fight us with something the whole way. I had to go take the plenums to get welded, we had to bend all the fuel line, Fab the IC pipe and down pipe. Only have maybe an hour or so left on it this morning.

Personally I'd say go 366 it moves a little more air from what jake at irate told me. I already a 38R. Also if u get a forged block and decide to go for the 500 or higher rather then the safe 425-450 with pmr's u have a huge turbo range to go with.
And from what I learned a 38R can go to 500hp but ur pushing its limits.

I would be afraid to push the 366 to 500.
