There is a reason Ford no longer offers a manual transmission... No need. You can make an auto hold anything you want to do with the truck whether its pulling, racing, or daily driving. If you're set on having a manual again, go for it... but again, you can't beat a built auto period...

I guarantee I will out pull, out tow and out work any row boat out there, point and shoot with an auto, no thinking about it...

Dont mind the music..... LOL

That was pulling about 18k for a GVW of about 26k...

I can shift my truck to any gear I want, and hold it as long as I want...

An Auto tranny is just plain better, it will pull better, hold up to consistant Hp then a manual will...

Not to say there are not some weak areas in a stock auto, but there are the same weaknesses in a stock manual...

Put a temp gauge in your manual...

Weak slave cylinders, weak clutchs...

As was said before, there is a reason why more and more OVR trucks are going to a auto set up, why more and more manufactures are not offering a manual...

i have had no problem with slave or clutch and as for the temp guage whats your point? unlike my camaro my truck uses 30w not atf. my transmission can take whatever i throw at it. lets call this a draw at personal preference

The new trucks are going to manual trannys because 1 they are easier on drivetrain 2 smog! But i dont know one guy pulling lots of weight in the mountains im not talking some of those ant hills, that will steep up and say auto is better unless you like to replace brakes every 10k. and how many people do you know that put auto in and in a year it is bad or it dooes not work from start.
