i was just wondering whats the best intercooler for the best price?

The cheapest one you can find, after breaking yours with high boost pressures.

Intercooler is not really one of those things that has to be replaced for power gain.

i have heard of some puttin the 6.0 banks cooler in the 7.3 not sure how true this is though just a rumor

yeah ive heard of people putting stock 6.0 intercoolers in their 7.3's but do they work better than a stock 7.3 cooler?

from what i hear they do, more surface area so i think it'd almost have to be better

yeah affirmative on that one, been hearing the same thing, apparently it can be done with minor modifications too.

The bd cool it intercooler is awesome for any truck. The Micro tube design is amazing how well they work. Even though intercoolers dont gain horsepower they help you use your power way more effiecently are free up air restriction

It takes less boost to pop a 6oh IC than the aluminum 7.3 IC, FYI.

I'd seriously stick with the stock intercooler. There are way better things to spend 1k on.

And there are crew cab superduty's in the 11's and 12's on the stocker so...

^What he said.. the stock 7.3 IC's are monsters. Find a cheap used one.
