Anyway to tell from the outside without pulling the turbo to see if it is stuck or working?

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

Replaced harnesses, resistence checked valvecover pass thru on both covers, unplugged switch at pedastool........still no power, pops, farts on hard accel, cyl contrib now shows cyl 1,3,and7.previously checked fuel pressure at the pump and it was fine, maybe a little high.Unplug icp goes right to 750.Will the ipr do this even though the scanner reads good?To me the truck acts lean, any further assistance would be apreciated.

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

Built a fuel pressure tester out a fuel filter housing.....70psi at the top of the housing.Has to be injectors at this point.....

Have you messed with the CPS at all?

It almost sounds like your timing is bad retarded.

Any chance of bad fuel, if that hasn't been asked yet?

CPS?Do you mean cam sensor, been replaced twice.
Have had the truck approx 3months,many tanks of fuel, many cans injector cleaners, replaced filter a couple of times.
How do you check the timing on a psd?

Snap-on scanner.

I'd lean toward injectors if it's not a CPS.

I have a solus pro......the cam sensor will cause the timing to read wrong?
Talking with cody at PHP for a tuner/injecter package, was trying to pinpoint the drivability before I spent the money but really think the injectors are the problem. Thanks for your timeWill keep this posted when I get my stuff.Any more thoughts would still be appreciated.

The CPS is the only thing tellin the computer where the crank, cam, pistons, etc are.

If it don't work, nothing works.

And PHP will square you away.

Any chance the ICM in the fender could cause this kind of issue? Mine failed the buzz test for Inj #8 and the dealer insisted I needed a new injector and under the cover harness, when all I did was unplug, clean the connector, and re connect it and it cleared up an issue just like yours, ran like crap, no power, stuttered and sputtered, heavy smoke. Just throwing it out there.

Know what your saying, been there,a couple of times, reflashed,no help. The people at php are working with me on a package deal for injectors and some tunes. We'll see prob early next week if it fixes this turd.I'm 90% sure the injectors will cure this, the tuner is just because

Installed all 8 injectors, plus a pheonix six position and the truck starts and runs great. In stock mode it fired right up this morn with no hesitation or farting with the throttle to keep it running.
Thanks to everyone on all the great info.
Thanks to Bill and Cody for the great service at PHP
