Make sure that spacer is angled or wedge shaped (thin forward). If it is not a wedge, or it was installed backwards, it will put a bind on the carrier bearing. It's a good idea to lower the carrier bearing, but it MUST maintain a straight line on the exit end, ie that is a splined shaft going into a bearing, any angle will destroy it. This is why it needs to be wedge shaped, not a square block.
His carrier bearing is not the issue.

you can have one made, but the purpose of the carrier bearing is to limit the length, effectively making two shorter shafts. Long drive shafts have a tendency to act like a jump rope at higher drive shaft RPMS. Unless they are made out of a thick wall tubing, but then that robs power from the excessive rotating mass.

The last carrier bearing I saw with "just a piece of steel" self destructed about once every 2 months. Every big box truck that I have seen with multiple carrier bearings have them ALL at an angle to keep the entire shaft in a straight line.

i can make the whole transmission move by hand a little bit but the transmission mount is only a few months old but i might try to shave it down and mke it less flexable and get some traction bars and put some metal shims in between the leaf spring and the top lift block...and if that doesnt work im off to the scrap yard! haha
