Sigh... Brother, don't take this wrong, but no it don't. No one can provide any details on how to do it, but can be done?

Take it from a 7.3 addict... A "smoke switch for a 7.3" don't exist.

Think some people are confusing smoke switches with resistor mods on a switch. Which are another really bad idea. But that's another thread. Removing the safe limit from the HPOS by installing a resistor, can screw up alot of stuff. Injectors are probably on that list.

what i ment is i dont know how he blew his injectors, any way actually i was acttually there there when they put it in.
dont do it, but what you do is splice a wire in to the green wire going into the your map senor, run that to a switch inside the cab. then take another wire and go from the switch to the green wire. in other words all this is doing is "shutting" off the MAPP sensor. you can get the same result if you just unplug your MAPP sensor.

PSD he intercepted and put a switch on the center line of the map sensor with a toggle buy disconnecting that line your pcm sends a preset amount of fuel to the motor at all conditions ie full throttle fuel even with no boost therefore more fuel less air equals more smoke ;-) the reason i know this is i had a prob takin off from dead stop well disconnecting the map allowed faster more powerful take offs so i decided to research y and well little bit haynes manual lil bit of online and i figured it out .. so basically if you get out unplug that map sensor and its an instant smoke switch However when you disconnect it it will turn on ses light...

why does every one want smoke? let's just all get together and give diesels a even worse reputation. that's why we have DPF and engines choked down to the max.

Just get yourself a good TS 6pos Chip either with TS Tunes or others and it will blow some smoke. Smoke = Poor Fuel Economy
