Looks like I will be getting the engine in a week. I will finally have enuff cash to get this done. Also got use of a hoist and a engine jack to take the engine out from under the car. This will make it alot easer to do the job. Now on the cam shaft Grind..... seems that a couple guys over on PSN have got delta to grind them a cam with 185 duration at .050 and intake lift of .406 and exhaust lift of .453 they call it a 2062. NMB2 has his engine running and it sounds great. I like the basic numbers of the cam but I would realy like to see more info on the grind. His engine and fuel pump combo is set up to defeul the engine at about 3400RPM he says it pulls hard to 3400 then drops off. I want a engine that will spin up to 3800 if I can. My allison shifts at 3200 so I want to be able to cruise at 3000 to 3200 in high gear like the detroit 8.2 . but be able to pull hills in third gear (like a mountain pass) with my water meth system to keep EGT's in check. Ken from delta is at the sema show this week so I will call him next week to see if I can get some more numbers.

The cam runs real good, the engine is able to move more air through the cylinder to burn more fuel, without blacking out the sun. The cam specs are under raps for now but I posted the lift and duration a few pages back if you look for it. I realy wanted to find out what the cam timing was and the duration at .200 lift. But no luck yet. NMB2 is going to dyno his truck and about ten other guys on 12-17-11 Racin has stock bottom end in his 7.3 with stock compression and custom turbo system NMB2 has a totaly built 6.9 decompressed with custom turbo and exhaust manifolds. If you realy have some time you should check out his thread over on psn its over 100 pages long.... I am waiting for dyno numbers now...seems like I been doing alot of waiting
