Check your air filter, if not that then it could still be your timing, how's it sound when it runs?

Im taking a wild guess but Intake maybe???? But as a rule of thumb your heads compression should set at 10(min) and 20(maxium) compression, and no more than 30%(maxium) air flow threw the valves and seats. And cylinder compression for a car/truck needs at least 70 pounds of compression to fire witch his does. So I'm taking another wild guess my dad bought his truck with a flat cam but the truck sat at the previsouly owners house for god knows how long with the top end apart and the rats and squirrel crap got to the bottom end and plug up the oil pan fliter and we didn't know even after we flushed 5 gallons of diesel threw it and changed the oil. So we got it together and he drove it down the road and it had no power at a certain speed just as he is saying. I know I might be wrong but just shootin some idea's out
