so 2 flaps would be 1/2 turn? and does ur truck get hot with fuel turned up 2 flaps

and mine doesnt have that tube on the oil fill and its like urs but the tube isnt there and it looks like it has a thick gasket on it
do i take that plate off to see the dowel rod and if it isnt at 12 oclock do i put it back on and turn truck over? or can i turn it there?
