the xrt does not have to stay in the truck, your thinking of the mini max which does stay in the truck

What's funny was looking at doing this for my bro in law and got a sweet deal on a 07 C&C 6.7 automatic. Looks like these are a lot simpler to do with sims. Just the three probes and a pressure sensor gonna try it as soon as I get back. three 470 ohm and 1 100 390 ohm Then gonna torch out a flange to bolt on and use my father in laws old exhaust pieces from his 06 and built a 4 inch exhaust on the cheap.

Let us know if the sims work. The C&C is a little different animal. Interested in Knowing if the sims work without throwing codes, as we have a few more trucks in our fleet That we don't really care too much about turning up power but would like to do the deletes on and if we could save money on the programmers that would be a bonus. What about the egr and cooler deletes, Are you going to leave Them installed. Or is one of the resistors to fool that as well. I had to

Thats actually not correct. The smarty programs and uplugs or you can leave installed to adjusts options on th fly. I think your mistaking this with the mini max as i misquoted the xrt pro for the mini max. I leave mine uplugged on '07 C&C and the settings stay put.

I was meaning that its locked to your truck. You can't program multiple trucks with one programmer.

Got the egr done today was simple torched some plates drilled holes painted the one on the intake aluminum gray plugged it all back in zip tied out of the way. Put a hose in place of te cooler. I think I can feel a difference started wheel hopping in my dirt and you can hear that turbo spooling now You can hear it alot more on the exhaust brake too. No immediate codes thus far. My resistors are here in the mail so I am going to try and get the exhaust done by the weekend. Will post results on that when done.

Well I ended up getting a sweet deal on a programmer off another site for 200 bucks got that truck runs beautiful. Made all my own egr plates took the cooler off left that rubber elbow on got a foot of 3/4 hose and a splice coupling from auto zone so it doesn't have a big loop in it worked great gutted my throttle valve. Torched a new flange for the exhaust bought 5 feet of pipe in town for 25 bucks and welded together my own exhaust. Couldn't be happier with the truck now best 230 bucks I have ever spent.
