Default Black Maxx and codes

Recently installed DFP, EGR/Cooler Delete, 5" TBE and Black Maxx on my 07.5. Finally had some time to take it for a good 2hr drive.
The Black Maxx program is downloaded, no power has been added, and twice in the 2hr drive I've had the P0205 code come up (Fuel injector 5 Circuit/Open) Truck shakes like hell and doesn't sound good, for about 20 seconds then its ok again.
Has anyone else had this? Any suggestions? Maybe re-install the download? Update the Black Maxx? Or maybe there actually is a problem with injector 5. Not likely though as its run great for 2.5yrs without a problem untill now.

Try to remove the electrical plug and reinstall it on the injector, look at it and see if their is any chaffing. There is a chance the harness could have shorted.

Thanks James, I will remove and check it this morning.

Started pulling the cover off yesterday and took a good look at it and figured it would take a bit more than a few hours so no go.

Additional info on the problem though:
Installed new firmware yesterday morning. Code came up during the first 30mins of driving, ran poor for about 5sec then ok. Started tearing it appart and ran out of time.

Driving home, noticed on the screen that "Defueling due to EGT sensor #1" came up. I immediately let off the fuel, and no code came up. I'm not sure if it had done this before, or if this was a first. No code came up though. My EGT probe has not been installed yet...set the defueling to disable.

Also, I did have the truck at the dealer a while ago for a fuel system clean/flush for preventative maintenance...not sure if this could be contributing to the problem?

Thanks for your help.

Brad

It almost sounds like a bad injector or a faulty harness for the P0205.

Ended up being two bad injectors. All is well now.
