Im thinking for the sake of saving $200-$300 I am going to try just a open filter on the end of the factory inlet hose. Most of the intakes are just a plastic tube with an open filter at the end so I am going to ditch the box and stuff this on the end....????? $35 and maybe a PVC adapter...

You just need a place to put the iat and the maf (electronics that are on the intake)

If it was just a matter of sticking a filter on the inlet of the turbo I would have tried that.
