This smoke switch setup works!!! Just got done settin it up, rolled the coal at a set still and couldnt wait to roll down the road. I set my Edge Juice w/ Attitude on 6 (Hot Unlock), lugged it a gear, hit the pedal, and watched the smoke roll. I appreciate the thread guys. Keep the smoke, and the good times rollin!!!!

this might help out alittle more.

What you need:
-T-tap connectors
-16 gage wire
-100ohm 10 Watt resistor
-On/Off switch
-Shrink Wrap
**Tuner is needed to produce "thick" smoke**

Step 1:
Locate Map sensor.

Step 2: Tap into Pink(with yellow stripe) wire and solid Brown sire with T-tap connectors.

Step 3:
Tie 100ohm 10 Watt resistor into either wire (it doesn't matter what one)

Step 4:
Shrink Wrap around resistor.

Step 5:
Run wires into cab.

Step 6:
Locate where to mount switch.

Step 7:
Start truck and make sure she smokes before fully connecting switch. (if you have a boost gage it should read that you are at full boost once switch is flipped.)

Step 8:
Mount switch.

What are the dangers if you do not have a Smarty tuner? I have a Bully Dog tuner, 09-6.7 I want a little smoke here and there infrequently for Prius owners that give me a dirty look when I am in SF area

i wouldnt think it would be any more danger on what tuner your running just the better tuner your running prolly the more smoke your going to get i would say bully dog and smarty are a close race just preference is what i would think

well it will work with stock exhaust, not sure how much smoke it would produce though, but what it would do is fill the dpf up, and then you would regen alot more trying to clean it out, thus ruining your fuel milage, trucks with stock emissions will still put out alot of smoke, but just alot more regens so it kills your fuel milage. But I doubt you would see but a little puff of smoke.
