Default Smoke Switch ???

My buddy has a 2006 ford with a sct programmer and he also has what he calls a "smoke switch" in his words it keeps your turbo from building boost in results causes it to pour black smoke. Another guy we know has one on his 07 LMM Duramax. Does anybody know where i can purchase one of these "Smoke Switches" or what ever it is called for my 6.7 L Cummins. Or atleast some feed back on Them.
