mad oil...

Ok guys sorry if this is beating a dead horse but i am growing to be very unhappy with my 2012 Cummins. Just under 2400 miles i changed my oil and got almost 3 1/2 gallons out(not counting what i spilt) why am i getting fuel in my oil?

Too much idle time, not driving it like it's suppose to be driven, bad injectors.

Its winter i will let it warm up til about 100 before pulling out. I dont baby it but i will admit i aint abusive either. I do run it a little harder than my previous 5.9 and my duramax. I am scared to death of having egr or dpf issues and now with the truck producing oil i am affraid to delete and loose my warranty. I would hate to have it be something drastic

I did my deletes in the middle of an oil change (about 1.5k). Before I did the deletes, I was having to change it at 2k intervals. Now, even though I had 1500 miles on the oil change, my overhead just went off at just over 4k. PROVEN

NO. I would worry about it. Anything going into the crankcase except new, clean oil is not good. Do the deletes and never worry about it again.

i think he was talkin not worry about doing the deletes cause the regen is why the oil level is rising and not a major problem

Well i got to go wednesday to the dealer flr them to look it over. Once i know the injectors are good i am accidently going to hit a large bump and watch the emissions nonsense fall off. Since i have changed my oil i have been driving it like i stole it and i carry a tape measure with me and after it sits a while i pull the dipstick and write down how far from the end of the stick i am.

Yeah.... and what I was saying is that anything going into the crankcase, whether it's normal or not, is BAD.

Welp another thing forgot was upon talking to two local dealers both of them "claim" that they never heard of nor know of anyway for fuel to get into the oil because of the dpf. Wish i had a local after market friendly dealer
