Default Steering box stabilizer

So I recently posted in the Dodge general section about having some death wobble on my truck before the repairs were done on it, but i never got any answer back about it; so i figured I'd ask my fellow 6.7s. It's riding alot better than it did after they replaced 1200 bucks worth of useless crap that probably wasn't bad in the first place (I think it just needed an alignment) BUT, like I said, it's riding better- not as it did when I bought it. I was looking at getting the steering box stabilizer bar for a mere 200 bucks, but I'd like to know if this is even worth it. Will it stop alot of the side to side chatter I'm getting in the axle, or is it just a gimic?
