That's what everyone keeps saying. . . I have put about 5,000 miles on it since I did the deletes and about half that time is with a stock trailer hooked up and the clutch has not slipped yet. . . Knock on wood!!!

 

What tuner and set on what tune are you running ???

you should be fine with the SW1 setting..but I would highly recommend a new clutch...I just installed a Valair Double Clutch Kit and love it..I run SW3.

 

Ya I only had about 30k on mine and I toasted my clutch on stock settings with just the deletes put in a south bend dd and love it I now have over 200k and it is strictly a tow rig with minimum 15000lbs and have towed up to 28000lbs with my hs on the 175HP tune with no issues.

 

towing on 175 do you watch your egts?

 

Yup I got full deletes but it has so much jam that I haven't found to many hills that ever make it go above 1100 and just cruising highway speeds it averages around 950. When I had my edge on 90HP the egts would get outta control but the hs just works and I get better milage to I honestly cannot say enough good about it. Gotta say thanks to armor in red deer Alberta those guys know what works.
