Exactly. My trucks get used. I do my best to keep them clean and out of harms way but if there is work to be done, they are called upon first. Take a look at my pics sometime. Everyone says how good looking my 24v is and ive tried to take care of her. Had her since 2004 and 37k miles. Im at 190K now. I like to think its a very clean and good looking truck but my bed is dented and scatched all to hell and i wouldnt change it if i could cause im just going to scratch and dent it some more. Trucks are meant to be used first. I laugh at all the "kids" my age who get big diesel fords and chevys (cause none of them know how to drive a stick) and the beds are still nice and clean except for a few dings and they all live in town! I think there should be rules for buying a fullsize diesel truck. 1) You have to be able to drive a standard. 2) You have to be able to hook up a trailer on your own. 3) You have to be able to back the trailer into a certain spot using ONLY YOUR MIRRORS!!. Ok im done.
