Ok i cant find a rant and rave section so im making one hear. now im a tell you how my day went!!!!(no lie) ok my day started at 3:30am so i can go to work, get off with plans to help my buddy move from a town 160miles away with my truck and 24" enclosed car hauler. get to the trailer and got a flat.(just needed air). had to go to my storage place to get the quads out of it and the gate is malfunctioning wont be fixed for 4-5 hours. so i call my friends and get the stuff unloaded to 3 different garages. hit the road running east bound and dowm like im a day late and dollar short. on the way see a bunch of card board boxes in front of store so i swing in thinking it might help for the move. get the bed of my truck loaded up and keep truckin. get to the town im going to and keep smelling smoke. every where i go. get 10 miles into town check the rear view mirror just as the flames of fire explode and engulf the back of my truck. slamend the brakes jump out wife grabs dogs from back seat and start tossing burning boxes all over the place,(lost some arm hair) guy runs out of house with garden house and starts going to town helping me. get it under control fire dept. shows up and takes a report. my guess is some one tossed smoke in my truck while going through town. good thing is it only melted a little of the bed linner. pissed off get to my buddys and start loading and hit the road bound for home. stop at a rest stop to take a duece and get a nap in and it out of order. all i need to say is i rolled more coal leaving there than i ever have. just trucked home now i have almost been up for 24 hours and had a horrible day......WTF. i can live with every thing that happened today exept for the truck fire. im disgusted in the way some people are careless. almost cost me my truck.

oh ya amd had a cop follow me down the highway for over 35 miles.

A cannot figure out the exact probability of having a bunch of cardboard randomly catch fire in the back of the truck, but it's gotta be way low.

 

i really think a cigarette got tossed back there did it. i dont smoke myself so it wasnt me.

 

Like they say, "if you didn't have bad luck, you'd have no luck at all..."

 

Bummer man, least you caught the blaze before it took the truck down.
