I am seriously considering buying my 1st 6.7 Dodge 3/4 ton. I've owned a 08 dmax and a 08 powerstroke. I deleted the dpf on both and still wasn't satisfied. The 6.7 Cummins I'm considering has low miles. It also has the dpf and egr deleted with a Smarty tuner which I would have done anyway. What is your opinion as a 6.7 owner on this truck and what can I expect to be different from the other 2? Thanks!

Does the 6.7 cummins seem more reliable compared to the dmax and fords 6.4?

The reason i like Cummins is the simplicty. Less moving parts than a V8 so less to go wrong. Rebuild intervals are longer on the cummins, always have been. If the truck already has everything deleted do a carfax check to see if its gone in for any warranty issues. The 6.7 is an awesome motor. Only thing that Dodge isnt the greatest at is the interiors. People complain about how boring they are. If im worried about the interior of the truck that much, I shouldnt be buying a truck. There isnt a brand that is more reliable than the other because anything can happen and if your buying used then you dont know how bad the truck got abused before. The cummins just has less that can go wrong. Just my .02
