so ive heard good and bad about the new 68rfz transmissions for 2010 and up so im just looking for input on them the pros and cons and are they really just as good now as the allison transmissions?

 

got me? thats like a $60000 truck, a long way from my price range. nice ride though

 

I just bought a 2011 6.7 with the 6 speed auto. I am told they are a pretty good trans now and that if you chip it with h&s tuners get the trans down load its 300 extra on top of the tuner but increases shift preasure and helps the trans last. Mine is stock at the moment and it seems to shift really well it shifts quick and no ridingt into gears and if u get on her she shifts really qick and tight a little jerk feeling and also the tune for the trans keeps 5th and 6th gear a lot longer so more power to the ground so i am going to do the h&s mini max and the trans tune.

 

My 08 6 speed auto sucks. Does smarty have some kind of trans tune i can add?
