i got troubles with the motor on the transfer case on my 08. if i could find the stuff i would switch it over to a manual 4wd. anybody have the same troubles.

mine wont go in 4wd. justs cracks. it tries to go in going down the road when its in 2wd. i wish i could find the manual handle and what ever else i need.

 

4-Hi works but when I switch to 4-Low it keeps flashing but won't go into 4-Low

 

try putting it in neutral before going to low every truck i have ever owned you had to be in neutral to go in to low

 

on my 08 mines it has manual trans and to switch it to 4hi i have to push my clutch in and put it in gear and back to neutral (never let out on clutch) and most the time it pops right into 4 hi and and and to get it in 4 lo i have to get it in 4 hi first and repeat the whole step till it pops to 4 lo but the other day it got hung in 4 lo and wouldnt come out and i had to cram the gears reverse 1st real hard and i finaly got it to pop to 4 hi then to hi

 

i think mine went crazy. it tries to go in 4wd when its in 2wd. if i can find the stuff, im goin change it over to a handle. if anybody ever done this let me know.

 

Ive heard of people doin that. Its a real good idea if you start runnin over a 37

 

i took the motor off so i can still run in 2wd.

 

so when your headed down the road it tries to go in 4 wheel if so you think the **** switch mayb shorting out and causing it?
