Front End
Ok, got off the phone with Dodge. Brought the truck in cause it had some squalling in the pulleys. Of Coarse that doesn't get duplicated when I bring it in.
And then they try to sell me on the crap....
So, they tell me the Tie rod is loose and the steering damper in bent. (I can do the steering damper no problem)
BUT, on this Tie Rod, he proceeds to inform me that Dodge no longer supports this Tie Rod and I have upgraded to a new system and front end style. and that he can do the Change over for the new suspension set up.
But it's not under warranty. (I have 65,000 miles on an '08 2500)
I can buy it though parts and labor for like $2400.
So what are my options here? Does a full lift kit have those parts? Is he blowing smoke up my ***. Can I find the parts from an after market guy?
I am pretty close to wanting to sell the Dodge Cummins and buy a Chevy 1/2 ton gas burner.
My warranty is becoming more and more useless.
