Default Problems with 2008 6.7

My dad bought an '08 6.7L 3500 6speed back last year. We use it to haul or toy hauler when we go on ATV rides and he pulls his small doziers and equipment with it. One day we were driving and notice the valves started rattling. We had it checked out and they said the injectors were going bad and fixed it. A couple weeks later... same thing. This time we took it to another dealership and they said that the emissions control was stopping up the exhaust and it was making oil somehow. They lost me there.. anyway, The dealership drove it this time and it messed up again. After fixing it a third time they sent it home with us again and my dad was driving to shreveport and smelled diesel. He pulled over and there was diesel coming out of the hoses. After dealership got it for the 4-5th time, they have now had it over 2 months and finally told him today that his problem is contaminated diesel fuel.. WHAT??!!! after all this time and they finally say that.. has anyone ever heard of this?? They said he would have to pay for it since he puts the diesel in it.. please feel free to post any comments or concerns you may have! sorry for the LONG sob story!

Is the truck still under warranty?? If so, it's on them...

"Contaminated fuel" is the excuse they use to get out of warranty work. The bad part is once they put it in the system your truck is flagged and no warranty work will be performed.

Fight them on this and get a sample of your fuel ASAP.

I had a dealer tell me that my 100 gallon aluminum fuel tank rusted inside and contaminated the fuel and messed up all the injectors and no more warranty for me. Had my driver bring it to me 700 miles and I put a fuel filter in it and it ran like a champ!!!!!
