After 5000 miles since my last oil change my oil is still perfectly clean. If any exhaust gas is going threw the egr my oil should have turned black a long time ago. And intake temp is about the same as out side air temp. To me it the egr seems to seal off quite well.

What about the Fuel rail plug? How will that help me?
