Driving today and truck lost throttle response then shutdown. Started back and showed engine light on with ohv reading service required see dealer now. No codes showing and truck is stock. Any ideas?

 

DPF clogged up. DON'T DRIVE IT.

 

Well that sucks. Its my only ride for now if it is drove what's the damage? Just need to get to work andback for the next two days. Planned on doing away with the dpf egr crap just not this quick haven't owned it a month yet.

 

I've heard some guys taking the DPF off themselves and actually cleaning it out. I personally have not done this, but I did rip all the crap off myself and put a 5 inch exhaust on. Just get rid of that crap man, it's killing your truck.

Is it under warranty? Yes.... Take it to the dealer and complain or scan it see what it says then choose to do deletes and a programmer
