Brad, Mel at Excel Transmission in Red Deer is supposed to be pretty good. He has installed Goerend parts as well.
Thanks Shane, I will give him a call in the morning...

Stock is looking like the best warranty, but worst performance. BD and NADP neither have full trannies ready to go, and NADP warranty doesnt look so good. The BD warranty looks awesome, but only if they build it. Tried to have the kit shipped and then we would build it here, but that wont work.

Stock also looks about half price of a BD...

A transmisson builder, or a tech LOL...

I have it at the dealership right now, they do a lot of my work, and let me do most of my mods without hassling me about warranty refusal and such. So I might pay a bit more but I do get exceptional service from them...Called from the field, said I was coming in, and to clear a bay, and it was ready when I arrived, the tranny was out 2 hrs later.

So to answer your question, I have a dealer tech who is a pretty good mechanic...

What are you thinking for parts? And how quick could we get them here?

what mods are available for the 6.7 trannys? are they the same as 47re/48re? such as all the shafts, input, intermediate, output, and drum? or what is different?

at the least put in a good valve body or a shift kit, if it is anything like the old 47's and 48's idling for extended periods w/o it being in neutral isn't good, if i remember you spend a lot of hours idling in the winter don't you?

I definitely used to, dont idle so much any more, couple hours total throughout the day, but very broke up into short periods...
