Default DPF/ EGR delete

I just recently picked up my first diesel on Saturday. I got an 08 Cummins 6.7L with 102,000. From what I read every where I need to get rid of the DPF/EGR. I am looking to get a little better mileage and a little bit of power. If anyone could give me some information on the best route to that would be great. Thanks

I'm going with efi auto cal lite, dpf delete pipe and egr delete kit, stock flow thru muffler, unless some one can convince me other wise, stock automatic. I want milage and longevity. I can't see how any more would be any help.

I like the transmission software available with the Mini Maxx or XRT Pro. But EFI Live is still a good choice.

I am looking at going with efi autocal, sinister egr block off kit, dpf delete pipe, and then I plan on getting the Edge CTS with pyrometer to monitor everything.

Just read that some states are/will be doing road side inspections, cal and wyo. were mentioned. Visual insp. and opacity measerment. Mild/stock tunes supposedly passing. Since its fedral law sounds like a great way to revinew off the tourists. Stealth egr/dpf might be way to go for Travelers. ALL HEARSAY just passing along
