I found out no composit or coated. I want to purcuase one time and get the best.

That may be a bit of a challenge b/c most all manufacturers will claim that theirs is the better compared to others. Some inflate their claims (marketing ploy). This can make things confusing. About all you can do is compare the pros and cons of each, as you research. My last two purchases were price oriented. My first purchase (2nd gen. intake) was just an experiment that yielded positive results, after which, I wanted more. My next door neighbor has an 08 CTD dually. He researched and bought an Afe Bladerunner intake elbow. He indicated he noted immidiate results in power and cooler EGT's. Plus he also has an aftermarket Cold air Kit. I dont remember the make of it. His intake looks darned cool as well. IIRC he paid about $360 bucks for it. He loves it. I think its pretty pricey, but then agiain its a 6.7 liter CTD. Hope someone else with a six-seven can chime in with additional info for ya.
