Default turbo cleaning?

Has anyone performed the dodge turbo cleaning procedure. I was wondering about making my own hose to dispense the cleaner to the turbo. The truck is getting deletes done to it this weekend. Any help would be great.

So just finished up with the egr/dpf delete. No one has replied to the cleaning the turbo with it installed, so I have decided that I will get the truck tuned tomorrow and run the crap out of it. Hopefully it wil get hot enough to blow all the crap out the back. I can see why the turbo was acting up. Some of the soot was in piles. If your in Ohio and need one done let me know. I bet the truck will scream after the tune. It sure looks a lot better under the hood.

That should fix your problem. Also I have been told that running the exhaust brake constantly will keep the turbo clean because it allows the veins to move throughout their entire range constantly not giving the soot a chance to build up.

The exhaust brake was actually sticking open when trying to accelerate. The truck continued to do it after the delete. I ran it for a few hours and it cleared up. For some reason the exhaust brake won't shut off until the truck gets to 1500 rpms. Even when you get back on the go pedal.

Makes it almost impossible to use with tow haul on.

I wondered about that. It was efi live tuned but nothing came up on codes. It starts to accelerate with the exhaust brake on. It might honestly just need ran hard to clear it out some more

ive done the cleaning a bunch of times. it works well, but can only be done properly with a scan tool to actuate cleaning process. all it does is run a dish soap like liquid down a steel braded hose, while the computer actuates the veins.

using exhaust brake alot will help keep it clean.
