The first time it takes a while because the bolt are almost welded on from the heat from the exhaust and the delete pipe can be a pain if you dont drop your whole exhaust and then put it back together. But it took us about 4 beers to finish mine.

I just put in a cat/dpf delete in my 08 f250. Took a half hour or so to drop exhaust and put in new pipe and that was by myself on a creeper. Used the SCT Livewire and run the performance tune. I got 18.6 mpg yesterday on a 450 mile trip. My only complaint is my idle rpm is about 900 and it feels like it's going to take off, using a lot more brake to keep it stopped. I'm sure if I call river city diesel back they could send me a custom tune with a lower idle.

I prefer the Spartan Tuner on the 6.4 Powerstrokes.

I'm running a H&S mini-max. POWER is great. MPG's haven't increased that much.

I am ready to pull all the polution controll stuff out of my 08 6.4. Check engine light always coming on due to Particulate tempature being too low.

Is it true that if you get stopped by the cops on the road and they discover you have removed the particulate filter or DPF deleted from your truck they can ticket you?

I believe that is only on Commercial Trucks.
