Default Air filter question?
what filter set-up is working the best for WORK TRUCKS?
I cannot run an open cold air, because I'm in the dust,weeds,grass,wheat stubble,and various other hazzards daily. Cannot risk dusting the motor.

Whats wrong with just running a standard cone style system? (k&n, spectre, etc)

Nothing wrong with those,except I have to clean them every 2000 miles or so.

I use a AFE PRO DRY S DROP IN AIR FILTER

Cool thanks for the info. I'll look into that. My mechanic uses AFE stuff.

Since I don't have time to let sit & dry off, I've always just get the vacuum cleaner with the fine nozzle & vacuum it clean

Personnaly I would run the other way from AFE in my experiance they don't colllect the fine **** I went to clean the one I had and found **** in my intake...so I switched back to K&N never had a problem since
