I want to do some upgrading but nothing that is going to void the warranty ( at least until it expires ( almost 57K miles on her now ) fuel MPG is killing me @ 10.2 10.4 in town, and maybe 13.5 highway. Would you happen to have any recommendations for me that are fairly cheap ( i blew my wad on the truck buying it and the wife, well im sure you know! ) and a good quality product.

Thank You sir for your time and patience
I hope with your reponse I am able to do the upgrades and report back with positive news.

Thanks again

Get a new 6.7 cummins

Seriously though, my dad bought a new 2010 6.7 cummins and already he has 30,000 miles on it. Once he hit about 20,000, the mileage went from about 13-14 up to 16-18.

The diesel mechanic at our construction company has a 6.4 powerstroke. About every 1,000 miles he was taking it in to get the DPF cleaned out. He only uses it for pulling, and rarely ever idles it. Well after he complained about it enough to the dealership here in town, the next time he brought it in they did something to it (even though they claimed they didn't do anything).
Ever since he's had it back, he hasn't had to clean the DPF in about 20,000 miles, the mileage went from 13 up to 18, and he's never had any problems with it.

I wonder what they did to it?

I have a 2008 f350 with the edge evolution race programmer dpf delete cold air intake and I generally get around 26 mpg if I keep my foiy off the gas I've seen 35 consistent for 76 miles just as long as theer weren't to many hills
