You need read my above post.

It don't matter for **** WHAT tuner is on it - I can tell ya it's been there after you take it out. That's why I tell all my customers - I don't give a rats *** if you put a tuner and blow it up. Just tell me about it ahead of time.

hillbilly we need more techs like you around that dont give a s***. i mean it makes for better diag and better all around comunication between owners and techs.

I actually PREFER people leave the tune in the truck when they bring it. If you're having a driveability concern, and you take the tuner outta there, it loses all the diagnostic information that I need to possibly help diagnose your concern.

I can tell that way, also, if the tuner is causing the concern. had a customer with a 05 6.0 truck that would crank but not start. Towed in, starts every time. Drive the hell out of it. Starts every time.

He brings me the edge juice with attitude that he took off, i put it on the truck, no start.

Like I said, easier sometimes to fix it with the tune there.

As for the warranty thing - you're the guy making the $1k a month truck payments, should be able to do what you want to it. As long as you maintain the vehicle, I have no issues with you.

you really are a different kinda guy. i appericate your words on this. i wish i had techs like this at my dealer ship.
