electronic injection to manual injection?

electronic injection to manual injection?
I have a 1993 k2500 with a manual injection pump. The engine has been giving me TONS of fits lately. I have found one from Michigan but its the electronic injection pump. Can I just put the older style pump etc on this engine? I dont want the elctronic injection style and I dont want to have to change the computer and harness etc. Any guidance would be helpful. Also this is a Jasper engine is there anything different about these from the original 6.5s in 93? The new engine only has 19k on it and he says he paid over 7k for it. Same as before any guidance would be great. And if anyone else has a 6.5 preferably the manual injection style with low miles please let me know. I have a 1988 Camaro I am trying to trade off for a 6.5. I have pics its really nice for the age.

a eletronic pump is not going to work on a oringinally mechanical injected engine without the computer and wiring harness...ETC. your really only option is to get a new IP. Cheap Mechanical 6.5 Injection Pump

I DONT want the electronic injection. I want to use the MANUAL injection on the electronic engine. The truck body is non-electronic so I dont want to change the wiring harness and computer. The Jasper engine is coming out of a 1998 H1 so I assume its electronic injection. Seems like it should be easy since Im downgrading to less computer stuff.

Oh and I already have a turbomaster I built from stuff at the hardware store. I havent even gotten to try it out yet the truck has been broke since I got around to making it.

well thats fine just switch the turbomaster from the GM-3 turbo that is on the 93 to the GM-8 that is on 98 and put the GM-8 on your jasper engine because the newer turbo spools faster and flows more air.
also i would put the 98 air intake on the engine instead of the orginial air intake beacuse that also flows more air. then after switching all the newer parts on just connect up the fuel system and all the other stuff and you should be good. it should feel faster with the new turbo and intake

the GEP Optomizer block is improved block but those are big bucks $$$. but beware there are a lot of Chinese knockoffs that are avertised as improved but really are not and in most cases fail easier.
i dont know specifics but i would assume the jasper engine is the same. actually the 97 through 2000 6.5 blocks from GM had oil cooler jets that injected oil at the piston. these blocks tend to crack a lot easier so you would hope jasper used the older desighn block as a replacement. i tried jaspers website and it seemed like you had to sighn up to see engine details so you could try there for more info.
