Xtreme x tune

Ideal? Not that I would want to spend this much but...
Fuel sump from tank feeding into an airdog 150 pusher pump set on low pressure, feeding into a fuel lab, or A1000, pushing up to a y-block that splits and feeds directly to the front of the heads. Then a regulated return system off the back of the heads. Ideally... In most cases you can just run a pusher pump feeding the stock pump believe it or not. I can't run a RR either with my setup, due to the veggie fuel system feeding the back of the heads. (well I could... but it'd be a mess with valves).
What size injectors do you want to go with? You're still running a stock turbo aren't you? You're surely going to need to upgrade that at some point, or this truck will be a hot smoky pig.
River City Diesel can flow test those injectors. It really wouldn't hurt to know what the heck you have, no one is ever going to be able to tune them correctly without knowing their size and the nozzle size.
As for the sound, just a mass amount of air. Sounds like a big wooshing noise. Couldn't hear it at idle, started to hear it around 7psi or so, and the harder I got on the pedal the louder it got. The plastic intercooler split on me. I have a thread on here with pictures and the P/N for the metal passenger side tube. I lost something like 8psi on top end with the split.

Fuel:
the fuel system you laid out sounds pretty much what the general concensus is. I have a couple of vendors quoting just that, I am looking for a complete system with all the lines and fuittings delivered to the door! parts sourcing for the "little" pieces can be a pain in the butt and pay through it while your their
Air:
I have a mtw satge 3 en route from Adrian to up the air.
Looking at some of the recent results from a few of the other guys setting up for these it seems a set of 190's or 205's may be the ticket
Pipe:
I will have to listen for the whoosh, I am still going to pull it I think and upgrade to the metal pipe, may as well change out the intake elbow and dispose of the secret butterfly valve that caused my last rash!

Good choice on the turbo, glad to hear you're upgrading. I would definitely do the metal pipe, that plastic wont hold up for crap. It's $105 for the metal pipe, with the boots and clamps from Tousley. Dozers diesel seems to have the best deal on fuel systems for 6.0's and RR's especially. They seem to have a package deal at least once a week on them. They come with everything you'll need. They do come in separate packages a lot from what I'm told, so if a box shows up and not everything is in it, just wait a few more days.
Good call on the intake elbow, just find a stock 05+ elbow somewhere.
