an EGR stands for exhaust gas recirculation it takes exhaust gas that comes out of the combustion chamber runs it through a metal tube( a egr cooler) where it is cooled off with antifreeze then circulated back into the combustion chamber to be mixed with the fresh air and burned a second time..... it is suppessosed to help with soot just some stupid emissions bs if you askme its useless!

SCT live wire is the only programmer id ever suggest.

EGR is "re burned"

No EGR gasses are inert its spent exhaust gasses. They are re-introduced into the engine to cool the burn process by bringing in INERT gasses which cant burn reducing N0x emissions.

EGR is stupid but not nearly as stupid as a DPF/DOC/SCR
