i thought the snap ring you replace tho is in the rear of the case?

 

Transgo tech said it was all in the pump at the front of the trans. Made it sound pretty easy, but we've all been there before.

 

the transgo kit is to keep the tranny from self destructing going from gear to netural then to gear then kapow.... the modified solenoid also is a good add on. drop the pan take a e clip out, pop the old one out then the new one in put the clip back on and fill with fluid.
