What TC lock up can you get for a 6.0? It's usually all controlled with the programming, is that what you were referring to? I have Erics X-race and you can definitely feel a difference over x-street. It is worth it, if you plan on racing the truck or pulling or anything of that sort.

The solenoid is a good idea. I'd get the one from Doug at GoGo. Doug is the man with 6.0's I am going to order one for myself soon, I've heard nothing but good things about it. Simple to replace as well.

The lock up was on dfuser.com, cant remember the brand, but Ill look it up when I get a chance. I already have pretty good tunes so I wont worry about it anyways. I am definatly gonna do the solenoid to help keep the stock tranny runnin a little longer.

What's a transmission rebuild cost?

There's not too much you can buy for these trucks for that price haha. That's what an oil change costs me if I do it myself.

From what I have read on the forums the direct solenoid seems to be a well worth investment.

My point was a rebuild is a lot more money than helping the tranny last longer now.
