negative boost?
Hey, I have an 05 powerstroke with the sct livewire. At idle in texas is was making about .70 to 1 pound of boost. Then I moved up to colorado and now at idle its making - 2 to -5 depending on how high up in altitude I am. Can anybody help did my boost gauge screw up or is because of the air being thinner any help would be nice thanx

Thanks it seems like there is a a lot more turbo lag up here I like I am going to take down to elite. Is this going be harder on the turbo?

As long as your not boosting it to the same pressure as you were before. If you are then yes it will be harder on your turbo.
Depending on where you lived and where you used to live the Atmospheric pressure just dropped about 2.5-3 PSI (14.7 at sea level to 12 ish at 5000 ft or so) Your guage still thinks the engine is operating at sea level and therefore has more air than it actually does.
