MBRP exhaust 5" Turbo Back
I'm running a 4" Turbo back with Cat on my 04, 6.0. Ran into a fella that is selling a 5" Turbo back with no Cat. cheap. Is there any real gain by switching and running less Cat? I've heard some say perhaps a little better fuel mileage and lower egt. Any input is appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Deucer

Thanks for the input folks. This poor little beast has spent so much time in the "Hospital" with chronic problems, I'm always looking for things to help it feel better. If the "5" in. pipes would help it in anyway without compromising anything, then I might consider buying. Currently when I throttle down hard I see the EGT push close to 1400 for a few secs.... Kinda makes me "pucker up" during those moments. If keeping the 4 in. pipes, but deleting the Cat is a smarter approach, well then I'll break out the chainsaw and comense with amputation.
