I've run DJ's, Erics, Spartans and Dougs tunes. I like Dougs tunes the best and drive them daily. Send me a PM and I can direct you to Doug if you like. Innovatives tunes are definetly a close 2nd though.

What kind of mileage are you getting with the economy tune?

I got the economy tune, its a joke and a waste of money IMO. It's more for if you let one of your buddies drive your truck and you know he's going to burn your tires off, and you want to play evil games with him...

Seriously, the higher horsepower tunes yield better mileage IF you can drive nicely. (most cant, its too much fun).

Fellas,
I am new to tuning. I've heard that the custom tunes will make your tranny shift better. Do you notice a harder more distinct shift or is it a smooth seamless shift? Just curious, thanks for any input.

My sct w/innovative tunes feels like it gets an instant shift kit when running the street tune, the other tunes aren't quite so noticeable.

My xtreme street from Eric at Innovative, would chirp tires going into second gear (back when I had the stock tires on). They definitely shift FAST and FIRM. I have a few other tunes that are similar in power output (seat of the pants feel) but they are no where near as fast because the transmission tuning is seriously lacking.

I had ran DJ's Tunes, Erics Tunes and Dougs Tune. They all three were great tunes and the truck was a totally different animal. But in my opinion the best shifting tunes came from Eric @ Innovative.

I have a new tune from Vivian (formerly from DJ's, now quicktrick auto) and the shifting is just horrendous. Trying to get it resolved now, haven't gotten a response to my email in over a week though.

Aren't these SCT units hand held and lack the quick change ability of what I am using now? I had a Super Chips on a Mustang and it took 15-20 minutes to change tunes. If so, why would I give up the 6 instant programs that I am using now for the slow change version?
