Thanks for all of the info!! Does anyone have a copy of the parts list that was mentioned? I sent an email and pm, but I think he's taken a short break from DB!

Can someone make a list of things to do and in what order as far as what to replace? I just bought my 06 yesterday and plan on starting with the egr delete, oil cooler, and coolant filter with a coolant flush. But as far as a budget concerned college student I was just curious as to what should be done asap and which items go hand in hand. My truck only has 82k miles and is in immaculate condition. It looks literally brand new. And I'm going to be ordering a water, oil, and trans temp gauges and possibly a volt meter

Gauges, incl volt meter, and coolant filter are good start. Proper maintenance is essential also.

So you go buy a loaded F350 King Ranch for $70,000...Then go spend another $15,000 to bullet proof it...NOT ME NO WAY
